Next up, we advise you to make sure your handset isn’t hardlocked! A hardlocked phone cannot be unlocked due to not having any remaining unlock attempts. To find out if you are hardlocked, first enter a SIM card that is using a different network to the one you are locked to. Next, turn on your Xperia J and wait for a screen to show up.

Once you’re on this screen, press the emergency calls button and then dial-*#*#7378423#*#*.

Once you’ve done this, a message will open on your screen.
Example:
- Network 10
- Network Subset 10
- Service Provider 10
- Corporate 10
- Sim 0

The number alongside network represents just how many unlock attempts you have remaining. If it is 0, your phone is hardlocked and our service won’t be able to get you unlocked!

How to Unlock Sony Xperia J ST26I Phone - Tutorial!

Next, provide us with your IMEI number, your Xperia J’s locked network, the country it was bought from and an email address we can send an unlock code to.

Now you’ll need to have a look at the pricing and availability, and then one you’re happy, create an order.

Once you have your unlock code (sent via email) go to the same splash screen you went to when you first entered a SIM card to check if you were hardlocked and then use the entry field to enter your unlock code.
