- IMEI number – you can get your IMEI number by dialing *#06# on your phone. Or you can go to your “about device” in the settings menu.

- The country where your device is from.

- An email address where we can send instructions to.

The time needed for your phone to get unlocked ranges from a few minutes to a few business days. It depends on the original country and network of your device. The system will show you an estimated time it takes for your IMEI to get unlocked when you check the availability.

Please make sure your LG G5 has an Internet Connection through Wi-Fi or Data and the MetroPCS sim card is inserted.  

If you have received "Unlocked" above, please open the app called "Device Unlock".     

For most phones it is found in: Apps > MetroPCS > Device Unlock  

With the App opened, click on "Permanent Unlock".   

Within a few seconds, the App will display "Unlock Successful".
