How To Unlock Moto E (2nd Gen) for European Networks
You’ll either get the Snapdragon 200 or the Snapdragon 410 in the Moto E 2nd gen, along with 1GB of RAM, a 5 megapixel camera and 8GB of internal memory. The device also has microSD support and is running Android 5.0 out of the box.
How to unlock your phone
Are you locked to a certain European network? Do you want to use your Moto E on a different network to the one you are locked to? Keep reading! We have a special guide that will help you to unlock your device.
Please read the guide below!
- IMEI number - This can be found by dialing *#06# on your phone. You can also find it in “about device” in the settings menu
- The country your device is from
- The name of your device
- An email address that we can send the unlock code to
Please make 100% sure that you provide us with the right IMEI number. The wrong number will result in the wrong unlock code. We cannot offer refunds of this happens.
Our orders can take a while to process. Sometimes you may have to wait up to 4 business days to process depending on our order load. As soon as your order has been processed you will be sent an unlock code via email. You can visit here if you need to unlock your Moto E handset!
Once we have sent you the unlock code, you can unlock your Moto E 2nd gen. To unlock it, simply insert a SIM card that isn’t on the European network you are locked to. Once you have done this, restart the smartphone and you’ll be asked to provide an unlock code. Enter in your code and you’ll have the device unlocked!
