A week after the Mobile World Congress and no announcements for any Windows phone, rumors started to appear, suggesting that Nokia will host a separate event to show the new lineup of smartphones for 2014.

There are no official announcements, but leaking sources say that the dedicated event might take place on April 19. These sources have also put forward a picture of the new Nokia Lumia 630/635, just a few days before the MWC 2014, which shows the phone in several color options, similar to the iPhone 5c.

The new Nokia Lumia 630 will benefit from the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system, it will have a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen display and an 8MP camera without a flash. It is also said that its processor will be a 1.7GHz dual-core, the RAM memory will be of 1GB and the internal memory of 8 GB, with an available micro SD slot and that the battery will be a 2000 mAh one. Of course that there are rumors left to be confirmed, so don’t count on them too much.

Regarding the design, the leaked photo shows a Lumia 630 in five colors: black, white, green, orange and yellow, in the fashion of the new iPhone 5c.

Except for the Lumia 630, Nokia is also planning to launch its 930 and 635 models around April, according to rumors.

It would have been useful to know the prices on the new Lumia 630, as it seems quite a money saving gadget. Hopefully more info will leak out until the beginning of April.
