By admin | Published July 26th, 2015

In 2014, the Samsung Galaxy S5 was one of the best smartphones available on the market. Right now, Samsung has newer devices available, but for a better price tag you can pick up the S5 that is still a very capable device.

If you are using the Samsung Galaxy S5 in Canada but you’re locked to a certain network you may want to try to unlock it. Below we have provided steps on how to unlock your Galaxy S5. And you can check it out here the full detailed instructions to unlock your Samsung Galaxy S5.

How to unlock your phone

If you would like to use your Samsung Galaxy S5 on all Canadian networks please enter in the correct details in the form below. The details we need are explained below.

- IMEI number -  This can be found by dialing *#06# on your phone. You can also find it in “about device” in the settings menu
- The country your device is from
- The name of your device
- An email address that we can send the unlock code to

Please do not provide us with the wrong IMEI number! The unlock code we send you may not work and we cannot offer a refund if that happens!

Once you have ordered the unlock code, it may take up to a few days to process.

After your order has processed we shall send the unlock code to the email address you have provided us.

Once your unlock code has arrived, please insert a SIM card into your Galaxy S5 that is not on the network you are locked to. Once you have inserted the SIM card and reset the device, the Galaxy S5 will display a page that will ask you for an unlock code. Enter in the code we have sent you and your device will be unlocked.
