How to Unlock Samsung Galaxy S6 for Canadian Networks

The brand new Samsung Galaxy S6 can be purchased in Canada across a variety of different networks. The S6 uses a new version of TouchWiz that is absolutely jam packed with features. Despite this, the new TouchWiz interface is very easy to navigate, and even a beginner can learn how to use it.

One thing beginners can’t do is unlock their device, and that’s because networks put locks on, stopping users from using different networks. To unlock your S6 so that you can use the phone on a different network provider, read our guide below

How to unlock your phone

For the first step, you must find some information about your device. This information can then be entered into the form below. Please read the list below to find out what information you need. For detailed instruction to unlock galaxy S6!

-    IMEI number. This can be found by dialing *#06# on your phone.
-    The country your device is from or the network it is on
-    Name of your device
-    An email address that we can send the unlock code to

Please make sure that the IMEI number you enter is absolutely correct. It is either 15 or 16 digits, and entering it wrong will mean that your unlock code does not work! We cannot afford to refund anybody that enters the wrong IMEI number.

We usually send out codes quickly, but you may have to wait a few days.

We will send codes to your inbox, and once that happens you can unlock your phone for good. To unlock the Galaxy S6 you need to insert a SIM card that uses a new network. (different from your current network.) Once you have done this, turn your phone off and back on again. A new screen will open up that asks for an unlock code.
