Even though the Galaxy Tab 4 is a mid-range device, it still has enough oomph to get through almost anything. In fact, it’s quad core 1.2GHZ processor and 1.5GB of RAM are capable of playing games and browsing the web with ease.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 can access the internet via WiFI or via a mobile network. However, if you want to use it from a mobile network you must use a SIM card you are not locked to. If you want to use a network you are locked to, you must unlock your Tab 4. Below we will explain how you can unlock your device.

We have a form down below that can be used to order an unlock code from us, but you must follow the instructions before using the form.

How to unlock your tablet

There is certain information we need about your tablet before you can order an unlock code. This information is used to generate an unlock code that works correctly. You can read instructions here if you want to unlock your Galaxy Tab 4!

IMEI number -  This can be found on the back of your device. You can also find it in “about device” in the settings menu
The country your device is from
The name of your device
An email address that we can send the unlock code to

Please make sure the IMEI code you enter is the right one! The IMEI number must be correct or the unlock code we send you won’t work!

It may take up to a few days for us to mail out an unlock code to your email address once the process has finished.

To unlock your Galaxy Tab 4 for use on all Canadian networks, you must find a SIM card you are currently locked to. Insert the SIM card into your device and it will ask you for an unlock code once it has been turned on. Enter the unlock code we have sent to your email address and your Galaxy Tab 4 will be unlocked and ready to use on any network!
