Motorola X Phone, New Specs Rumored

Motorola X RumorsWe haven’t heard much about the Motorola Phone X when it comes to hardware specifications except that you may be able to ‘customize’ the hardware to your own specifications. This isn’t 100 percent confirmed, but when Guy Kawasaki, a Motorola advisor showed a video for the customizable “Porsche Exclusive” on his Google+ page with the phrase "Wouldn’t it be great if you could personalize your phone like this?" it kind of gave away Motorola’s new plans.

According to some rumors Motorola X will have a 4.8 inch screen made of sapphire glass, apparently three times stronger than the commonly used Gorilla Glass. The corners will be made of rubber bumpers, and the casing of carbon fiber. Already we can picture a super sturdy device capable of withholding those with the most clumsy hands.

Inside the handset will apparently have a 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, a 4,000mAh battery, and altogether the device will be housed in a water proof casing. The phone sounds like a shining wonder, but with those high-end specs, I really doubt it will be very close to reality.

If these specs were true though, the Motorola X will be a top contender with the Galaxy S4 this year, and if it has a decent display with at least a PPI of 380, and a decent camera, the Motorola X may even push out on top. But once again, these specs are merely a rumor stirrer.
