Leaks about expected smartphones always come out from different sources, most of them uncertified, because people are curious and impatient. This time we have some leaks regarding the new HTC One from an official source, the Chinese wireless service Tenaa.

Let’s see what the new HTC One will be equipped with in 2014. It seems that the screen will be a 5” one, with 1080p and the overall dimensions of the phone will be 146 x 70.5 x 9.5mm, weighing 157 grams. It sounds quite good, similar to the Sony Xperia Z2 specs, but with a smaller screen.

What powers up the HTC One 2014 is a Snapdragon 801 with quad-core Krait CPU of 2.26GHz and 2GB of RAM. Not bad but could have been better. The internal storage will be either 16GB or 32GB, with the possibility of adding a microSD card.

About the camera, the info is a little bit ambiguous. The Chinese provided info about two rear cameras of 4MP and 16MP, which we are really curious if it is true or if there was a confusion made at any point. We will have the proof when more official details will be released by other sources also.

Until then you can check the market for other possible new releases and think about which new flagship you would like to have.
