Until now, the lack of optical zoom seemed to be a problem for smartphone cameras and for people who wanted to take the best pictures with their multi-task gadget.

Well, it seems that modern times bring solutions to every problem when it comes to technology and now the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom features an optical zoom incorporated in the phone camera. To get unlocked your Samsung Galaxy K Zoom please click here!

The lens of the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom has a capacity of a 10x zoom, the same as another attempt of Samsung’s to introduce an optical zoom to a smartphone, the Galaxy S4 Zoom launched in 2013.However, that first attempt had an unhappy bulgy dimension, while the K Zoom is slim and looks just like a normal smart phone.

Weighing almost 200g and having a thickness of 0.80”, this gadget has really managed to be both compact and high class in what concerns camera quality.

The lenses come into place only when the zoom is extended and they are pulled off to the sides when the camera isn’t needed.

The overall design of the gadget is very interesting, having a plastic casing that makes it easy to handle and gives it a good look and carefully placing the shutter button on the right side of the phone, exactly where it should be.

This button is designed in such a way so that you don’t risk to accidentally press it, being less sensitive than a normal button.

The phone features a 4.8” Super AMOLED display, very close to the one of the Galaxy S5, which will make your photographic experience even better.

The extra features brought to the camera of the K Zoom aren’t few, its designers adding a special feature dedicated to selfie addicts.

It’s called “The Selfie Alarm” and it gives you some framed areas to choose from, according to the place where you want your head to appear and lets you know with a sound when you have positioned the frames properly, so that you can take the selfie with no flaws.

Of course that a front-facing camera would have done a better job, but we can’t complain with this method either. Actually, there is a small 2MP front-facing camera present on the Galaxy K Zoom, so it’s your choice.

Of course that the camera software has plenty of shooting modes to choose from and you can always download more. Moreover, the K Zoom offers you the possibility of separating autofocus from auto exposure, which is a helpful function if you want to photograph people or objects which are backlit.

Except for its 10x zoom and 20.7MP photos, the K Zoom can also shoot video at 1080 and 60 frames per second. It includes also an image stabilizer and a Xenon flash which looks more natural in pictures than a LED one.

Regarding the capacities of the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom smartphone (because it is also a smartphone, not only a camera), you should keep in mind that its processor is a hexacore, having four units of 1.3 GHz and two of 1.7GHz.

It also has 2 GB of RAM, the Android 4.4 KitKat and a special power saving feature which turns off everything but essential functions when in saving mode.

This powerful photo phone is clearly the best such hybrid proposed by Samsung so far. It will soon be released on the markets all over the world. For other Samsung models you can unlock it here!
