Upcoming Update to Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge Should Add RAW Photo Capture
You may be surprised to hear that the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge do not come out of the box with RAW photo capture. This is odd, considering Samsung has put so much effort into making the camera on their latest flagship lineup as great as possible.
It’s been rumored that the pre-launch Galaxy S6 lineup did indeed have RAW photo capture, but the feature was removed before the smartphones went on sale.
It’s likely that Samsung didn’t quite have the kinks in the feature completely ironed out, but an upcoming update should finally add it back into the camera app. Are you a Samsung fan? Learn here how to unlock your Samsung phone!
With RAW photo capture, Galaxy S6 users will be given a lot more manual control over the camera app, which should allow enthusiast camera users to get the most out of the device’s camera app.
So far we don’t know when the upcoming update for the Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge will roll out, but it should be fairly soon.
