Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Specs RumorsWith the great success of the Galaxy Note 2, there’s no doubt that Samsung fans around the world will be patiently waiting for its successor, the Galaxy Note 3.

Of course, there’s no evidence that the Note 3 will come to actuality, but rumors have spread, and speculation states that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be shown off at IFA 2013 at Berlin in September.

If the Galaxy Note 3 does show its face this year, what can we expect, and what features will make it a valuable purchase to the 2012 handset?

If the Galaxy Note 3 can improve upon it’s precursor by just a slim margin, it still has a great chance of shining this year.

  • According to Australia’s International Business, the Galaxy Note 3 will include a 5.9 inch display. Not quite the 6.3 inch previously rumored, but still an increase in size in the previous handset. It would be disappointing to see the screen quality any lower than 1080p, but due to the large screen size, a PPI of 350 and below is definitely something we need to expect.
  • Another rumor from the Australian paper is that the screen will use the flexible display that Samsung has been developing, rendering it almost unbreakable. The screen will use PHOLED technology, and will carry on saving power whilst still looking bright and crisp.
  • Another feature that will shine bright in the Galaxy Note 3 is the inclusion of Samsung’s homebrewed Exynos 5 Octa, that won’t be shipped with many Samsung Galaxy S4s due to supply shortages.
  • Another hardware feature is the Note’s super impressive camera. A 13 megapixel or better camera should make it onto the Galaxy Note 3, and there’s no doubt you’ll be able to shoot some quality images with the phone.

Finally is the software side, and this is where Samsung wraps up the package and ships out an amazing service with all of their Android handsets. The TouchWiz UI will continue to improve and when it reaches the Galaxy Note 3, there’s bound to be many feature that put the large screen to great use.
