BlackBerry Z3 to be launched in Indonesia
It seems that BlackBerry has signed a five-year contract with Foxconn, which will manufacture all the smartphones from now on, having only the software and marketing aspects covered by BlackBerry. The most recent gadget that will be launched on the market, the BlackBerry Z3 will be produced by Foxconn and released in Indonesia. If you need help to unlock your Blackberry Z3 click here.
John Chen, the CEO of BlackBerry, stated in an interview that next week he’ll be flying to Indonesia for the launch of the new Z3. The specs of this smart phone are as follows: a 5” screen, a resolution of 540x960, a 1.2 GHz processor with 1.5GB of RAM and an internal memory of 8GB.
It’s a low cost smartphone, priced under $200 but with high expectations from the budget smart phone buyers, hoping to compete with other similar models such as the Nokia Lumia 520. To get unlocked your Nokia Lumia 520 please click here.
From his previous experiences, John Chen likes to make good deals out of business, and people say that Marvell was interested in buying Blackberry’s wireless technology at some point but the deal didn’t reach an agreement. Are we about to witness a sellout of BlackBerry? It remains to be seen.
In the past period BlackBerry has focused on software and services, so its future will probably focus on that. Ever since the Whatsapp buyout by Facebook, Chan has been dedicating time and effort to the BBM app, allowing it to be used by iOs, Android and soon Windows, thus raising its value and adding up for a potential sale.
Let’s see how things will work out with Chen and BlacBerry in the following three months. Until then, you can follow the evolution of the Z3 and see how it behaves. To get unlocked your other blackberry handset you can visit here.
